Kim & Daniel : Paritutu Rock Wedding
Kim and Daniel were married on a beautiful New Plymouth summer's day, in the last weekend of January. The scenery was picturesque, the sun scorching, and the atmosphere charged, waiting in anticipation for the bride's arrival.
I met Kim through a dear friend, and quickly realised that family was going to play a central part in her big day. Kim and husband-to-be Daniel have two very beautiful (and photogenic!) children, who joined & engaged with them in the ceremony. A favourite moment being the first kiss, with an elated 4 year-old celebrating with a hand-stand and the family group hug a moment later. Afterwards the guests enjoyed ice cold beverages & shaded under umbrellas while the group photos took place. The newly weds then headed off with their bridal party, in a vintage car & we captured them as the light started to fade, overlooking the staggering Paritutu Rock & Mataora Islands.
